OVEN & STOVE ISSUES

DOESN’T TURN ON

For an electric stove will not ignite, check if the stove is plugged in and all circuit breakers are switched on. You should check the pilot light on gas models. If the oven power cord is plugged in and the pilot light is lit in the oven, it means some other part of the appliance will have to be replaced. The reason for the issue could be an infinite switch, surface element, igniter or bake and broil element.

BURNER WILL NOT HEAT

A stove or burner or oven with no produce heat does not do much. Your oven won’t heat if there’s a broken bake element or a malfunctioning oven sensor. A burner doesn’t fire up when an element is broken or when the burner switch or terminal block do not work. We can repair these common issues in less than 1-2 hours after an appointment begins.

TIMER ISSUES

It is safe to assume the control panel on a stove is broken if the program or timer functions do not work. In this case, we know how to fix control panels on Sears, GE, LG, KitchenAid, Kenmore and many other brands of stoves, ovens and ranges. We provide a warranty on control panels and the manufacturer replacement parts we install for this type of stove repair service.

OVEN IS VERY HOT

You always should have a hot oven. Although not too hot! When the heat is too hot, it could be because of a broken sensor or thermostat. Our appliance repairmen can diagnose the reason for the issue and then repair it. Be careful if troubleshooting this problem for fear of burns from the very high and unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER WON’T LIGHT

A common stove issue is times where an igniter glows but it does not light. The cause is sometimes from either a broken surface igniter, safety valve, electronic control or temperature sensor. We can determine if we are able to fix these appliance parts or if we will have to replace the parts.

DOOR WON’T OPEN

Modern self-cleaning ovens are known to experience door problems. The door does not open after the cleaning cycle. We inspect the door latch, thermostat and seal to figure out why the door does not open and then we complete the repair so we can resolve the issue.
